Welcome! Park Ultrasound is a specialist obstetric and gynaecological (“O&G”) ultrasound practice, established in 1994 under the supervision of Dr Bev Hewitt, who brings a clinical specialist O&G background with extensive additional ultrasound training, qualifications and experience. Obstetrician Dr Bridget Jeffery joined us part-time in 2009, contributing her maternal and fetal subspeciality training and experience from South Africa. The practice moved in 2008 to purpose-built premises at 12 Connolly St, on the West Leederville/Wembley border, which is on the ground floor at the rear of 176 Cambridge St, opposite SJOG Hospital Subiaco. The two main groups of ‘scans’ (ultrasound examinations) we offer are pregnancy (obstetric) and non-pregnant (also known as pelvic or gynaecology). Most of the assessment of the ultrasound at our practice is performed during live scanning, which gives more information than still pictures. We work as a team where the scan is performed by a dedicated sonographer or doctor. Particular features of the scan including any difficult or borderline findings are covered with or by the doctor. This team approach allows us, and you, more time for the detail of each ultrasound.
